Originally released for PlayStation 3 back in 2012, indie adventure game Journey by developer Thatgamecompany was later ported to PlayStation 4 on 2015 and then for PC platform in 2019 as an Epic Games Store-exclusive title.
Right out of the blue, this award-winning game has seen a surprise iOS launch today and those who want to relieve that same great experience once again on their iPad and iPhone can purchase it for only $4.99 on App Store.

Developers have partnered up with Annapurna Interactive and Santa Monica Studio to bring the game to mobile audience. It was praised by critics and players alike for minimalistic design with gorgeous visuals and excellent musical score.
Journey lets player to assume the role of a traveler roaming through a vast desert and his quest to discover ruins of an ancient world buried within deep sands are entirely narrated by his gameplay actions to reach there.

If anyone has been wondering if there is any chance of the game seeing a Nintendo Switch port anytime soon, Annapurna has made it clear that their current plan is limited to iOS and PC platform but we can have some hope though.
