Resident Evil 3 Remake Reportedly Coming in 2020
Capcom will reportedly release Resident Evil 3: Nemesis in 2020, following success of Resident Evil 2 Remake.
It has been reported and rumored several times since reveal of survival horror classic title Resident Evil 2 Remake at E3 2018 event that developer/publisher Capcom might be interested in a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
Reported by news outlet VGC and Spawn Wave YouTube channel, Capcom has been allegedly working on development of RE3: Nemesis remake that they are planning to release next year followed by an announcement at The Game Awards 2019.

In past, Spawn Wave has record of successfully leaking upcoming From Software release Elden Ring before official reveal at E3 2019. Besides, several other sources are reporting on the same rumor as well with a bit lesser skepticism.
Also, Capcom producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi mentioned earlier that they are open to ideas of a remake for 1999 original PlayStation game if there is a significant fan-demand, which caused RE2Make a possibility and sold 4.7 million units so far.

Capcom took Friday the 13th of July in 2018 to tease fans by posting an image on Twitter of RE3 antagonist Nemesis, comparing him to notoriously relentless stalker Jason Voorhees, both chasing and haunting their victims persistently.
Then earlier this year, they mysteriously tease fans on social media by putting a shot of protagonist Claire Redfield from RE2 Remake standing next to a massive hole in a wall before arrival of Mr. X, a few months after its launch.

When Capcom was looking for RE Ambassadors within United States back in August 2019, people were hoping for confirmation on RE3 Remake but it turned out to be a brand-new Resident Evil game titled Project Resistance.
However, during Closed Beta program of this team survival multiplayer experience last month, some players started to notice Resident Evil 3 save room theme is being played in-game, which is a rather interesting nod to add for sure.

Moreover, lead character Jill Valentine and her fellow Raccoon City survivor Carlos Oliveira has briefly appeared in first trailer of the game to add more fuel to that spark of fire, having fans to speculate even harder for RE3Make.
If show host Geoff Keighley truly ends up announcing Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Remake at the big night of TGA 2019 next month, it is most likely to come out at some later point in 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
