Undertale Creator Composed for Pokémon Sword and Shield
Indie developer Toby Fox of Undertale has composed a track for upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Over the years, Pokémon series of games have given fans many masterpiece soundtracks and upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield by developer Game Freak and publisher Pokémon Company intends to carry out that legacy as well.
Therefore, indie developer Toby Fox was contacted to compose an original track for Sword and Shield. Fox is renowned for single-handedly creating 2015 acclaimed role-playing title Undertale, a game praised for its many aspects and music.

His work on the project has earned him a huge popularity within Western gaming industry and Japan. Fox was even invited to collaborate with Masahiro Sakurai and created a remix track of "Megalovania" for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Before working on Sword & Shield, Toby Fox has also composed soundtracks of Little Town Hero, a turn-based RPG game for Nintendo Switch and a non-Pokémon title from Game Freak that just came out in October.

In a recent Tweet, Fox has publicly revealed about his involvement in forthcoming Pokémon project.

When Fox was asked to do a score by Game Freak, he considered this as a great honor to be a part of the highly-anticipated game. However, he clarified in a follow-up Tweet that he is not at all doing a key track or something like that.
Pokémon Sword and Shield is only weeks away from launch on November 15 and following controversy regarding removal of Pokédex, developers probably thought bringing Undertale creator on board may help win over a few fans back.
