Batman: The Telltale Series gets an all-new makeover in Telltale Batman Shadows Edition re-release for PC and Xbox One.
In its original release, point-and-click episodic graphic adventure game Batman: The Telltale Series had a successful run for two seasons until developer/publisher Telltale Games shut down in 2018 and some of its IPs were acquired by Athlon Games.
Telltale is reformed by LCG Entertainment, Inc. now and has announced a collection bundle titled Telltale Batman Shadows Edition earlier, which is currently out for PC via Epic Games Store and Steam as well as on Xbox One platform.

Shadows Edition is a noir-style take on already dark tone of The Dark Knight mythology explored throughout Batman: The Telltale Series and a grim version of that fictional world is thrown into shades of black and white.
All 10 exciting episodes from two narrative-driven seasons of storied Telltale's Batman series are enhanced with remastered textures to deliver the definitive adventures of Caped Crussader in an ominous new look for re-release.

Rather than going for a simple use of desaturation process, a group of former Telltale artists were tasked to work on lights, textures and vfx elements to provide a gritty makeover to for fans to experience these stories from a new perspective.
Therefore, some elements are left in shadows and some remained in color to highlight certain key-moments and plot themes. This reworked iteration of Batman series lets you to relive the game in a way that is different than original version.

Players who already own both games from Batman: The Telltale Series can simply upgrade to Shadows Mode by purchasing it as standalone DLC pack and you should own at least one episode of the game to use this add-on content.
Right now, PC version of Shadows Edition is priced $11.99 on Epic Games Store and $14.96 on Steam at 25% discount. There was plan for a Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 version release as well, which will be launched in near future.
