Marvel's Avengers Will Be Revealed at E3 2019
Square Enix would finally reveal their ambitious superhero adventure Marvel's Avengers at E3 2019 press conference.
Teaming up with Marvel Games for a multi-game partnership, publisher Square Enix officially announced superhero action-adventure game that was simply titled "The Avengers Project" at E3 2017 event and had no development updates for long.
Finally, the long-awaited game has received a schedule from Marvel Entertainment for a worldwide reveal event at E3 2019 press briefing now that we are only few weeks away and is currently referred to as Marvel's Avengers.

Originally announced in January 2017, developer studios Crystal Dynamics and EIDOS Montreal joined on board for this project. We don't even have a release window set for its possible launch but hopefully, we will get something very soon.
Back then, a brief cinematic has shown Captain America's shield, Iron Man's repulsor arm and Thor's hammer Mjolnir fallen on the ground that suggests that original Avengers have probably disassembled and they need to "reassemble".

It is highly likely for a new group of heroes to gather to pick up mantles of their icons in a brand-new original story where a new generation of heroes like Amadeus Cho, Jane Foster and Sam Wilson can now form New Avengers.
We can pretty much except a similar lineup on Marvel Cinematic Universe as well since Avengers have already gone through major events such as "Infinity War" and "Endgame" lately, leading some key-characters to pass their mantle to new heroes.

Almost a year after The Avengers Project was announced, Creative Director Shaun Escayg updated everyone on social media saying how hard they are working on this ambitious game and will soon reveal more when it is right time.
Given how Square Enix is planning to introduce a universe where gamers can play for years to come, Marvel's Avengers may turn out to be an MMO or RPG experience, which would not be very surprising and we will find that out on June 10, 6 PM PT.
