Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy to Focus on Family Dynamic
Since their debut on the pages of Marvel Comics, Guardians of the Galaxy has conquered the fans of comic books, movies and animated TV show. One more credit is going to be added to their legacy as it will be adapted into video games soon, credits due to developer Telltale Games. At the D.I.C.E. gaming summit 2017, Marvel Games' Creative Director Bill Rosemann has shed some light on this upcoming project of theirs.
As their “World Building the Marvel Way” presentation goes on, he shared that they are about to travel around the family dynamic of the band of intergalactic outlaws we love and what on space can possibly tear it apart. Each of the character from the Guardians of the Galaxy roster are given the individual treatment to focus on their origin and motivation for becoming a family who has very little in common among them.
He also nodded to the possibility of the Guardians meeting a list of other Marvel characters in their adventurous quest, who will be having potential appearance or their own games on the future. Marvel has already joined team with game developer studio Square Enix for a multi-game partnership for years to come and initially they will start with The Avengers Project.
Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series was announced in December, 2016 with a teaser trailer and it will be available on various gaming consoles, mobile devices as well as personal computers, with the initial date of release is yet to be revealed.

According to the official description of the game, the Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will follow Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon and Groot, who will be seeking a cosmic artifact of immense power, which another ruthless force on pursue of that relic. This five part episodic journey will take them from Earth to Knowhere and beyond in Star-Lord's ship Milano. You will be swooped away with the awesome soundtracks while the story is told in Telltale's legendary fashion and your action will cause the outcome of the game in the end. Just like the other games from Telltale Series.
