Dread Zone will challenge you with a blood plague that comes with a faster-acting infection gauge. There will be fewer resources to scavenge while pits you against deadlier horde of zombies and plague-infected juggernauts.
Nightmare Zone is for more experienced and hardcore players, who will come across a tougher crowd of hostile NPCs and an infection period that lets one last for only 10 minutes. Obviously, packs of annoying freaks will make it miserable for you in the mean time.
