State of Decay 2 Daybreak Pack DLC Release Date
To celebrate three million players worldwide, State of Decay 2’s second DLC Daybreak Pack is coming in September.
Released as an exclusive title, open world zombie survival game State of Decay 2 from developer Undead Labs and publisher Microsoft Studios did quite good upon launch. Initially the game picked up 1 million players in just two days and then amassed another million of survivors on PC and Xbox One within less than two weeks. The game's first DLC Independence Pack came out in July and now time for the second expansion, Daybreak Pack to arrive on September 12.

This news was recently revealed at Gamescom 2018 and new details regarding gameplay has arrived as well. This next chapter of your survival in a post-apocalyptic world presents you with new gameplay, loots, weapons and deadly zeds for exciting zombie-killing experience. A co-op "zombie siege" will pit you and your three teammates against waves of undead hordes. If you are willing to have a taste of that, be sure to visit Xbox booth this week at Gamescom to be a part of that action.

You might have crossed paths with the mighty undead Juggernaut more or less if you have been playing but now there is new type of it called the Blood Plague Juggernaut! Not only this one is a powerhouse but it transmits blood plague to players. To assure that you even stand a chance against him, the developers added several deployable explosives, couple of melee and ranged weapons at your disposal. Anyways, you can still fell victim to him if you are not careful enough during face off.

If you own the Standard Edition, then Daybreak Pack is going to cost you only $9.99 but you get it for free with Ultimate Edition. Xbox Game Pass members can enjoy a 10% at launch of the DLC. Xbox Play Anywhere allows you to play it on both PC and Xbox One. Although, State of Decay 2 became the best-selling game of May 2018, it lacked some depth and had some problem that annoyed the players. However, the engaging combat system has saved the sequel to State of Decay of 2013.
