New gameplay launch trailer for Undead Labs’ State of Decay 2 returns to a bigger and better post-apocalyptic world.
We are only a few weeks away from developer Undead Labs and publisher Microsoft Studios launching their upcoming co-op multiplayer survival horror game State of Decay 2, so we should pack our belongings to prepare for survival. Despite focusing on a dozen different modes of killing undead hordes in a post-apocalyptic world, the game mainly concentrates on remaining humans and their limitless effort to staying alive each day.

Set 15 months after the events of original State of Decay, the game picks up the few human survivors from Trumbull Valley. They've gotten better at their skills and back again to build a new community throughout challenging situations. This is a true sequel that brings every loving aspects of its predecessor and makes improvement on those. There is an ensemble of characters with each fueled by their own motivations and different back-stories for being out here.

As survivors explore the open world of this game, they will make various choices along the way and some of them are really tough. You should remember that every action and choices made by a player matter here to define what length they are capable to reaching for survival. Building up your base or secure an outpost is very important because they will either offer you either medical supply or ammo. Or you can just join a well established community in exchange for some of your skills that may help them.

Three new maps; Meagher Valley, Cascade Hills and Drucker County are added to this game, each sizing of Trumbull Valley. Aside from gathering your own crews, you can add more people to your squad or just kill themselves if you want to, which is not really necessary. Rest assured that there is always something for you to engage in whether you are responding to a radio call for help or working out with some other group to better improve some new skills for your group members.

When State of Decay 2 releases on May 22, it will be available to play on PC and Xbox One, or you can just access the game using your Xbox Game Pass. If you are eager to join the adventure a little earlier then you can re-order State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition, which gives you four days of early access starting from May 18. Priced $49.99 only, this one also comes with “Independence Pack” and “Daybreak Pack” DLC once they are released.
