The Sentry Enters Marvel: Contest of Champions
Things are about to shake heavily on Battlerealm as The Sentry steps into the arena of Kabam's mobile fighting game Marvel: Contest of Champions. This Golden Guardian of good happens to be one of the most-powerful characters from Marvel Universe that has now set his footsteps on the vastness of The Contest. He always had too much power at his disposal and then there is The Void whom he has to keep in check to avoid death and destruction of the innocent.
The Sentry is now a playable character in Marvel: Contest of Champions and check out this video to witness the special move highlights of the Golden Guardian.
Those who calls The Sentry as Marvel's Superman, truly undermines him because there are heroes like Hyperion and Thor to claim that fame. We have game designer Erich Kohlweg and art director Gabriel Frizzera to thank for bringing this Mighty Avenger and all his super-powers on the table and now the Champions of Battlrealm are in trouble. However, the version of The Sentry we got our hands on is an old, rugged version of the hero who came back after being lost in the Battlrealm for the last 35 years.
His alter ego Robert Reynolds was picked up at the very beginning of The Contest by Maestro for his master The Collector. With his unmatched might, he almost effortlessly beat all the others participants of the arena and became an agent of his master. We got the motion comic offerings a small glimpse at that too right here.
Although he has the power of a million exploding suns, he won't be using it all. He will be good defense against the likes of Hulk, teaming up with Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye and Vision seems pretty likely for him. If a combo can be carried out with him properly, it will cause significant impact on the enemy. Not only is he good for inflicting damage on the opponent, he is better at sustaining attacks too. On low health, Sentry’s can regenerate his health using his Special 3 Attack.
Since The Sentry has already joined the Battlrealm you can just start playing with the character in Marvel: Contest of Champions on your very own Android or iOS devices. If you can gain mastery over his gameplay then other Champions of The Contest should tremble when he will enter a fight. Considering the character recently making appearance in the monthly Doctor Strange comic-book series after long absence was surely a good time to bring him in.
