OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes Release Date
Previously, developer Capybara Games has been responsible for games like Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes and Super Time Force. Their most recent project includes an action-adventure beat 'em up game OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes, adapted from a popular Cartoon Network show called OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes. This is Capybara's newest project after almost four years after the delayed work on Below and they are working with Cartoon Network Games on the game.
Below is the brand-new official trailer for OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes, showcasing brief details of the gameplay and the plot of the adventure K.O. gets into.
K.O. is an aspiring superhero to be and he takes inspiration from his icons he mostly hangs around with. Lord Boxman is a madman who despises K.O. and takes away all the levels from the heroes' pow cards. The trailer shows that. K.O. and his friends will be wandering around inside Lakewood Plaza strip mall as he learns to be a superhero. Scratched from some old concept ideas and character designs, they finally managed to complete the show as they wanted to.
OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes nicely retains its comical tone just like the animated show and Capybara Games did a fine job at that. Though the original series had a 2D styled animation, the gameplay adaptation may seem like a 2.5D experience because of the side-scrolling nature of it. Plus, the game promises to have much more fun in stock and cut-scenes in between K.O.'s adventure quest.
OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes is set to launch on January 23, 2018 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. So, prepare yourself for one of the finest game made from cartoon show that will let you brawl and collect cards with your favorite fictional characters from the show.
