This new cinematic teaser takes us back to kingdom of Hyrule once again with Link and Zelda but everything seems cryptic and dark. These two were seemingly exploring some dark, underground dungeons riding on a beast.

After passing by some ancient wall paintings, they come across a mystical force is growing from beneath and holding what appears to be a Gerudo. Shortly before this happened, they even discover the corpse of Ganon during their quest.

That magical force even seems to grab hold of Link as well before Hyrule Castle is seen shaking up from below ground. Apparently, Link either gets corrupted or kidnapped by an ancient evil and that only leaves Zelda behind to defend Hyrule.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild came out as a Switch launch title that went on to receive universal acclaim and completely reinvent TLoZ series. It was a smash-hit success for Nintendo and has sold over 14 million copies worldwide by March 2019.

Back in November 2018, there were rumors of a new mainline Legend of Zelda game may be closer than many would like to think. Many fans didn't even expect a sequel so soon but obviously, it was a welcomed surprise to them.

We are guessing that development phase of Breath of the Wild sequel may be in very early stage; so much so that Nintendo even gave it a title. Or they have things set as they wanted but possibly redacted its title to avoid giving major info out.
