Netflix revealed plans to make announcements for video games based on their original movies and TV shows at E3 2019.
Since E3 2019 is just a month away from kick-starting in June, every major video game developers and publishers are prepping to show off their upcoming major projects and guess what? Online streaming giant Netflix is joining too!
Yes, subscription-based streaming service has recently announced via their sci-fi and fantasy Twitter account NX that they will be attending E3 this year and of course, they are going to make some exciting video game announcements.

Apparently, Netflix have some gaming news that they want to talk about at a panel in Electronic Entertainment Expo next month and it has to do with turning fan-favorite movies and TV shows from their streaming service into exciting video games.
Though they did not drop much info about what games they are about to reveal on E3 2019 except for Stranger Things, we believe it involves some narrative-driven experiences like Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and Minecraft: Story Mode.

Shortly after NX tweeted if they can get an invite, official Twitter account for E3 engaged in a conversation that has dropped major clues at what we are about to get.

Shortly afterwards, Geoff Keighley has confirmed on Tweeter that Netflix will be having a special panel at E3 Coliseum.

Netflix already made a name as a popular streaming service with their original movies and TV shows like Black Mirror, Narcos and Stranger Things in recent years and is looking for expanding their territory in entertainment business perhaps.
They revealed a retro-inspired beat 'em up title Stranger Things 3: The Game at The Game Awards 2018, slated to release on July 4, 2019 for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One that employs a 16-bit art style.

Despite not being a major player in video games industry, they were already working on a Stranger Things game with Telltale Games, footage of which was leaked online shortly after they announced studio closure in September 2018.
