Gears 5 Possible Release Date Leaked
Ahead of E3 2019, a possible release date and box art for Gears 5 has been leaked by Taiwanese ratings board.
Following its official reveal back at E3 2018, developer studio The Coalition has been keeping quiet for their upcoming third-person shooter game Gears 5 and publisher Xbox Game Studios probably planning for a showcase at E3 2019.
We are now close to a year of its official announcement and looks like its release date has been leaked recently. Latest installment of Gears of War franchise is about to arrive sooner than we think, according to Taiwanese ratings board.

Despite what its developers and publishers have intended, a box art have been leaked from official Taiwanese Industrial Development Bureau and this information and a Spanish fan site Generacion Xbox has originally noticed it.
They also uncovered a possible launch date of September 10 for the game, which needs some confirmation though. However, it is very possible for Microsoft to choose that release window to avoid competing with major AAA-titles coming in October and November.

What they claim to be a possible cover of Gears 5 seems pretty legit, which prominently puts focus on Kait Diaz. She is holding a Locust pendant with Marcus Fenix on her right and Queen of the Locust Horde, Myrrah on her left.
Though Locust Queen was killed by the end of Gears of War 3, she appears in flashbacks or she probably was presumed dead and now is coming back. Del Walker and JD Fenix are on lower right corner, adjacent to two seemingly new enemies.

What is barely visible in blood stains in lower middle is probably Locust stronghold Mount Kadar and it make sense as in-game narrative would send you on a journey to Sera to discover Locust origins and their connection to Kait.
E3 will kick-off just in a month and we most probably would see this box art being revealed along with some more footage. A Microsoft platform exclusive title, Gears 5 will be launched on PC and Xbox One through Xbox Play Anywhere.
