Mortal Kombat 11 Reveal Event

The community event for Mortal Kombat 11 revealed new gameplay features, fatalities and the first female boss of MK series.

Before Mortal Kombat 11 was eventually announced at The Game Awards 2018, the latest installment from Mortal Kombat fighting game series was teased by game director Ed Boon and then hinted by an angry voice actor Eduardo Garza last year.

The inevitable announcement of the newest title promised to provide more details on the game during a community event on January 17, 2019 and the entire jam-packed show gave us a lot of information to get hyped up about the game until it releases.

As we predicted earlier, Raiden goes full dark side this time and he will have no tolerance towards anyone who threatens Earthrealm. The God of Thunder decides to inflict a darker shade of justice by killing any enemies of the realm before they make any move.

Following the ending of Mortal Kombat X, a defeated Shinnok was taken in by the protector of Earthrealm to the Jinsei Chamber and endlessly torturing the old sorcerer. The fallen antagonist then points out to his captor that wearing his amulet, Raiden has changed for better.

When Shinnok reminds him that he cannot really kill an Elder God, the lightning states that there are fates worse than death before decapitating his head to deliver it to Liu Kang of Netherrealm as a sign of warning and then teleports away.

What he doesn't know is that a new, fearful enemy named Kronica arrives at the scene, who dubs herself as "The Keeper of Time" and wishes to destroy the now corrupt Elder God for upsetting balance and meddling with timeline itself by previously changing it.
