We see that the characters look quite different from the playable operators we saw before and this is probably because; they are highly customizable for more personalized experience. Another notable part from the trailer is 15 seconds of glimpses on battle royale mode Blackout.
There were basically two groups of four people going against each other, which suggest that players can go up solo or in squads. Beta opens up with six maps but two of them are yet to reveal and five modes to try.

No progress made during the beta test period will be carried over to the final release of CoD: BO4, which is regularly seen in Free Weekend but participate in the program will surely earn an exclusive calling card for them when the game finally launches.
However, completing the entire Multiplayer Beta is going to reward players with a Permanent Unlock Token, which can be used to unlock equipment or weapons in post-launch content Create-a-Class.

Aside from physical copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, ordering digital copies from online through Battle.net, Microsoft/Xbox Store or PlayStation Store can also get you into the fun without redeeming a beta code on official Call of Duty website.
We are still waiting for details on Blackout Beta and possible release date in September to announce by Treyarch or Activision. The reason for them to not arrange an open beta is to make fans preorder the game and test out experience in a minimal scale.
