Destiny 2 PlayStation 4 Free Weekend
Bungie and Activision offers a free weekend to enjoy full Destiny 2 campaign and Crucible for fans on PS4.
With the sequel of 2014's original multiplayer first-person shooter Destiny, developer Bungie and publisher Activision made a huge buck. Destiny 2 was one of the biggest PC launch for the publisher company and did pretty good on consoles as well. If you have somehow missed out the opportunity to be a Guardian and fight to save The Last City from a new ruthless enemy, then you are in luck because a Free Weekend offer on D2 is just on the horizon for PlayStation 4 owners.

Whereas, games like team-based FPS shooter Overwatch from Blizzard Entertainment or tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege from Ubisoft throw out Free Weekend for fans to play trail of their game every other month, Bungie took no part in that sport so far. Maybe a few instance in the beginning, but not for a while afterwards. However, they are offering a trail that lets you play full campaign, where you can fight against the invasion by alien warlord Dominus Ghaul and his Red Legion.

All existing game modes and all the gears are up for grabs throughout the whole weekend for free. Just like always, all of your progress made through the trail can be transferred to the main game if you decide to purchase it later. Even though all those rumors of D2 is dead because of a decaying fan-base and their terrible decisions with DLC distribution are not entirely true, looks like Bungie is trying to revitalize Destiny community for their upcoming Forsaken expansion pack and a slight selling advantages.

Destiny 2 is an online-only multiplayer first-person shooter from Bungie and Activision, available on all major platforms. Earlier this month, a Free Weekend trail on Xbox One was thrown as well for Xbox Live Gold members from June 7. We are only wondering if they are willing to offer something similar to players on PC anytime soon. Otherwise, it just looks like one-sidedness towards console gamers, while a better chunk of the community might feel left out.
