RAGE 2 Official Gameplay Trailer
The official gameplay trailer for first-person shooter Rage 2 from Bethesda showing off intense apocalyptic mayhem.
We had a lot going on at this point with upcoming first-person shooter RAGE 2 from id Software and Bethesda Softworks. First there was a Walmart listing which leaked that the game is in development, then the announcement trailer got leaked online and they eventually released it after taking down the leaked one. The first live-action trailer didn't give away much except for the type of tone the game will adapt and announced that they will drop a gameplay reveal trailer today!

Just as they said yesterday, the official gameplay trailer is finally here. If you expected it to be intense and feral, then you guessed it right.

With this trailer, we are back on the wasteland but not quite the one from the first game but something that looks similar to Mad Max. The protagonist is the last remaining Ranger named Walker and not U.S. Marine Nicholas Raine this time. Into the vastness of empty desert and concrete jungle, you will go through hordes of uncivilized goons to reach your primary goal of ensuring the downfall of The Authority. Since your character has been robbed off everything he owned, he shouldn't have any problem to follow that agenda.

Although it was solely a gameplay trailer, we got a good chunk of back-story as well, which is mostly vague and typical for such type of game. They really have made the gameplay better this time as you can see in the clip above. Whether it is some mohawk sporting skinny punks or hulking mutant enemies, shooting at them mercilessly is sure looks fun. The visuals are improved as well as a bigger open world is for players to roam through. On top of these, there is that damn pink color almost everywhere!

Currently, action shooter RAGE 2 is planning to release on 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The original RAGE came out in 2011 and after six long years, developer id Software is bringing the franchise back along with Avalanche Studios. Bethesda probably have had plans to release these trailer to E3 2018 or at least not just now but thanks to all these recent leaks, the publisher have had enough and straight out dropped it out of the box.
