Super Smash Bros. Game Rumored for Nintendo Switch!
Although there is no concrete evidence to back the news up and we better mark this as a rumor but apparently, Nintendo is working on a new title which might be a new Super Smash Bros. game. Most probably, the game will be a Nintendo Switch port of the fifth release of the series and one of the most popular; Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U (2014).

Emily Rogers have recently revealed this news on ResetEra forums and she stated that a new Super Smash Bros. game is going to be announced soon and then it is coming this year. This particular game can either be a “full sequel“ or a “half-sequel“. It can also be a “deluxe definitive edition port” for all we know for now and it is headed to Nintendo Switch. Alongside the already existing content, the game will feature some re-worked and new ones too.

Even though it doesn't fall into the same stereotype of every other fighting games out there, Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. is undoubtedly one of the most popular of them all. The game was originally released for Nintendo 64 back in 1999. For the first time, the title assembled fan-favorite characters like Donkey Kong, Kirby, Mario, Link from Legend of Zelda, Pikachu from Pokemon and Yoshi from various Nintendo games. The game was a huge success overnight for bringing so many popular and iconic video game characters.

Seeing this formula of success work, Nintendo then start dropping a Super Smash Bros. titles for every other consoles and with no exception, everyone of them was a hit! Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U was the last one of the franchise and it was released on 2014. Obviously, the gameplay mechanics was more improved than ever, a bigger roster, multiplayer mode and replay value earned it praise from players worldwide.
