YouTuber Rheteam took a challenge for himself of beating the game on highest difficulty for non-lethal run, where he won't kill anyone or not take some serious damage to himself. He enabled permadeath and decided to do it without firing a gun but with a pair of boxing gloves to knock their socks off if encountered. Also, he did not take any companion for this personal quest, which took him to a series of episodic videos length over an hour each, finally completed.

Below is the final episode from Rheteam, where he finishes up all the sidequests on his self-imposed standard.

Switching to boxing gloves instead of weapons was only to save his skin in cases of hostile confrontations. His S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system attributes were cleverly distributed as 10 Strength, 1 Perception, 10 Endurance, 1 Charisma, 10 Intelligence, 7 Agility and 1 Luck. Putting more emphasis on his agility, endurance and strength was carefully planned to boost his gloves during combat. In 13:24 of the clip, he thought he accidentally killed a Fiend while taking his weapon off.

One other interesting aspect of this gameplay is that no NPCs were killed by him either. Well, he didn't do it himself but rather lured them into an area where his friendly NPCs will take care of the situation. One of the trickiest sidequests were Three-Card Bounty outside Camp McCarran, where three characters; Cook-Cook, Violet and Driver Nephi had to die in order to complete it and the player simply positioned them precisely against each other so that they all were victims of friendly fire.

Rheteam presumably used a mod to enable both hardcore mode and permadeath before beginning this journey. Since Fallout: New Vegas was designed to be flexible enough to make it possible for anyone interested to avoid killing, Rheteam just amped up the bar up a node to test his skills. Feast your eyes with a masterful gameplay run of the game if you are a fan of the game try to come up with some more difficult way to make another amazing wasteland trek.
