Nintendo Switch Getting More 3DS Games
Nintendo will bring more 3DS games from popular franchises to showcase growing appeal of Nintendo Switch Lite.
Back in September, Japanese video game company Nintendo launched Nintendo Switch Lite as a revision for Nintendo Switch console that is focused on handheld gaming and sold over 2 million units within 10 days of release.
Seeing this amazing response from consumers, Nintendo has decided to bring more franchise of games from Nintendo 3DS platform to their latest portable-only system to increase its overall appeal to a wider group of audience.

This comes as great news for Switch Lite and regular Switch owners since they both share a same software library. Whatever runs on Lite also works on original Switch and therefore, all players gets to play more titles on the system.
Apparently, more of Switch Lite consoles were sold in U.S. compared to units shipped for Japan, which typically is the other way around when it comes to handhelds and this is a great indication of a new potential market to capitalize.

Earlier this summer, Nintendo fans have gotten their hands on tactical role-playing game Fire Emblem: Three Houses on Switch and more recently, action-adventure title Luigi's Mansion 3 came out during Halloween 2019.
By next month, players will be able to jump into upcoming role-playing game Pokémon Sword and Shield and then March 2020 is scheduled for life simulation title Animal Crossing: New Horizons to arrive if there is no further delay.

Switch Lite basically has all essential features of a regular Switch except its hybrid functionality and this is likely an attempt to drive Nintendo 3DS franchise fans go for a more affordable option that lets them play games on the go.
Shortly after release, Nintendo is already on board working on a new model of Nintendo Switch Lite. They have also filed plans for a new version of Switch console with FCC but any details on its appearance is yet to reveal officially.
