Nioh 2 Open Beta Release Date
Team Ninja has announced Nioh 2 Open Beta for November on PS Store with a full release due for early 2020.
Long after making an official reveal back at E3 2018 event, developer studios Koei Tecmo Games and Team Ninja returned revealing a batch of new screenshots for their upcoming action role-playing title Nioh 2 last month.
Then last week at Tokyo Game Show 2019, a gameplay overview trailer came out with a release window of early 2020. Open Beta program for fans of the samurai adventure game is announced to begin from November 1, 2019.

A playable demo was made available for panel attendees earlier in TGS 2019 and now players from all over the world can experience gameplay of highly-anticipated Nioh sequel for 10 days-long only a month after at PlayStation Store.
Apparently, only players on PlayStation 4 consoles can take part in Open Beta and there is no official confirmation on whether Team Ninja will keep this a PS4-exclusive title or it may see launch on PC and Xbox One platforms.

Despite comparison between Nioh series and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice by From Software, developers made sure that it stands out unique among other samurai games, including upcoming Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch.
Nioh 2 doesn't have an official release date revealed yet other than a launch period of early 2020 on PS4 and hopefully that is not January. Original Nioh came out on February 2017 from publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment.
