The Division 2 DC Outskirts: Expeditions Release Date
New episodic content DC Outskirts: Expeditions for tactical shooter title The Division 2 will bring more missions and a new mode.
Aside from averting serious launch issues unlike its predecessor title, developer Massive Entertainment and publisher Ubisoft were able to see success with The Division 2, a sequel to 2016 online action role-playing game The Division.
To continue on that path, Year 1 content roadmap is kicking off its first major content update titled DC Outskirts: Expeditions, which will become accessible to Year Pass owners from July 23, 2019 and a week later for everyone else on July 30.

Players will be stepping outside of Washington DC to explore new locations, go on Expeditions, take new missions and get loot. Episode 1 will introduce a worked up Discovery difficulty setting for eight-player raid Operation Dark Hours.
One of two new missions will require you to go to Camp White Oak and get turncoat President Andrew Ellis to justice. Division agents would go after Outcasts leader Emeline Shaw and eliminate her to ensure they never regain control again.

Expedition mode is newest upcoming feature for the tactical shooter that will split up agents into three wings to fight varied enemies at Kenly College. Each of them has a different theme when they are on a lookout for survivors of a supply convoy.
Completing all three wings will eventually unlock access to Expedition treasure room full of exclusive reward items like exotic Diamondback Rifle, BTSU Datagloves gear and two additional weapons, Stoner LMB and Carbine 7.

As a response towards community, esteemed Tom Clancy shooter to add matchmaking for raids soon and you won't need to assemble a team just so you can take part in a specific piece of game content but at a lower difficulty level.
In Operation Dark Hours raid, matchmaking will be available to help you take down Black Tusk forces. Meanwhile, keep training to get better because even though Discovery has its unique rewards, some exotic loot is exclusive to normal difficulty.

Year 1 Pass holders can enjoy two more Classified Assignments that will take them to Central Aquarium and NSA Site B13. Also, players can max out crafting to Gear Score 500 and blueprints cane be shared across characters now.
Lastly, episodic content DC Outskirts: Expeditions will not be without some balance changes and bug fixes to deal with few in-game issues. The Division 2 is currently available to play on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
