Death Stranding Cover Art Revealed
Hideo Kojima reveals official cover art for Death Stranding featuring Sam Bridges at San Diego Comic-Con 2019.
After being officially announced at E3 2016, upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive action game Death Stranding by developer Kojima Productions and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment now has a release date, which is set for November 8, 2019.
By now, we have many teases and a couple of gameplay videos revealed by game creator/director Hideo Kojima, who recently showed up at a panel of San Diego Comic-Con 2019 to show off his final cover art for the anticipating game.

Official box art for both Standard Edition and a slick Steelbook case from Special Edition of the game features lead protagonist Sam Bridges, played by actor Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead) at its center.
We already saw different version of this look of Sam in previous promotional material and trailers but the second image is definitely grittier, probably implying him going through some rough stuff in his quest to reconnect society.

Kojima shared panel with Danish film director Nicolas Winding Refn (Bronson, Valhalla Rising), who is playing a character named Heartman in his game. He will play a vital role in Sam's journey but we will know more about that upon release.
