Bloober Team has dropped first gameplay trailer of upcoming survival horror game Blair Witch, coming August 30.
Last month at E3 2019, first-person survival horror title Blair Witch by Polish video game developer/publisher Bloober Team was revealed for PC and Xbox One, which is currently scheduled to release on August 30, 2019.
Since we are less than a month away from being spooked to death when the game finally arrives, it was about time that we get a short footage ahead of launch and here comes a brand-new trailer featuring gameplay walkthrough.

Player character Ellis is a former police officer looking for a boy who got lost into Black Hills Forest of Burkittsville. At one point, he realizes that this is no mere missing person case as he starts seeing bizarre signs around him.
Ellis starts having a weird vibe from his surrounding and seeing things that are running around under the dark of night. He hears mysterious voices and is being chased by stuffs of nightmare within deep woods with no escape or help.

Of course, protagonist was not expecting such grim encounters inside forest and therefore brought no firearms. All he has is a video camera and a cell phone other than a canine companion named Bullet, who follows him around.
During his time of investigation, he was talking on phone with a woman named "Jess", who is someone close to him. His relationship with her along with a troubled past he had, definitely has some key-part in story premise.

Bloober Team has a preceded reputation around horror genre and renowned among industry for past games like Layers of Fear and Observer. If nothing, the trailer is one scary trip to darkness full of pure psychological terror.
Developers have improved "found footage" aesthetic of the genre for 2019 Blair Witch game based on 1999 movie The Blair Witch Project. Franchise fans are in for a good time uncovering mysteries around series legend like always.
