Resident Evil 2 Remake Mod Adds DMX Song
Inspired from popular meme, DMX song "X Gon' Give It To Ya" has made it into Resident Evil 2 Remake via fan mod.
Not a full month has passed since the survival horror game Resident Evil 2 Remake came out from developer/publisher Capcom, fans from all over the world are playing the game like crazy and some are taking it to the next level with exciting new mods.
Already a series of fan-created mod is out there to tweak with in-game aspects for fun and now a popular song from 2008 of rapper DMX has made it to the game via a newly created mod that replaces theme song of a certain enemy.

Released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last month, RE2 Remake has received a few notable mod for playing as original Resident Evil character Chris Redfield, switching back to first-person perspective or a fixed camera angle like 1998 classic so far.
An independent modder known as DJPop attempted to and successfully changed the actual theme song "Black Impact" for returning villain Mr. X with "X Gon' Give It To Ya" rap song by DMX in several scenes where players would come across this monster.

After Capcom announced the remake back in 2015, they totally rebuild the game using their revolutionary RE Engine that helped creating Resident Evil 7. Series protagonist and fan favorite enemies received an overhaul in terms of AI and graphics.
One of the boss characters that returned in RE2Make is a trench coat wearing Tyrant creature T-00, going by the name of Mr. X and he has been made into a stuff of raw terror that was deployed into Raccoon City to retrieve a G-Virus sample and kill all survivors.

The moment you hear the sound of his stomping boots throughout the corridor or the hallway of R.P.D., you know that you are going to be in a whole world of trouble if you do not move immediately to hide from his sight before he locks on you.
Unlike the early rendition of the boss, 2019 remake version of Mr. X is a relentless stalker and virtually unstoppable. Even if you manage to momentarily take him down with a Flash Grenade or a couple of head-shots, he will get back to his boots right in.
