Valve is looking back at the top-seller games, most played and the ones with the most simultaneous players for 2018 so far.
Each year, Valve Corporation unveils a list of the best-selling and most played titles on their digital distribution platform Steam and 2018 is not going to be any different. Also, Steam Summer Sale was nearing its end and gamers ought to know which games are ruling the top charts currently.
Despite seeing a sudden fall in sales for the past couple of months, there are many willing to cash in for their favorite games and the list for best playing games got some surprising and unexpected entries as well.

Few of the top sellers of 2018 starts with games like Jurassic World Evolution, Far Cry 5, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Civilization VI, Rocket League, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rainbow Six Siege, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Grand Theft Auto V and Warframe.
Aside from inclusion of CS: GO, Dota 2, PUBG and Warframe, rest of the entries were unpredictable. Steam has separated these top games into four different categories like Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Open world action adventure Assassin's Creed Origins, Final Fantasy XV, fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ, turn-based RPG title Divinity: Original Sin II, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Elder Scrolls Online came close topping the list into Gold category.
Considering new sequels from their franchise is awaiting release, Dying Light and Fallout 4 are doing quite well by securing Silver rank, while Rise of the Tomb Raider and The Division managed to enter the Bronze class.

Games that have the most concurrent number of players are according to official report are CS: GO, Warframe, Dota 2, Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG and GTA V. All of the above-mentioned titles are drawing more than 100,000 players simultaneously on Steam.
KC: Deliverance, Rocket League, Garry's Mod, Football Manager 2018, Rust, Civilization V, FC5, Path of Exile, Stellaris, Civilization VI, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Payday 2 comes close with 50,000 players hooking up to it in real-time.
