Dragon Ball FighterZ First DLC Characters Revealed
Arc System Works and Bandai Namco’s fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ has been ruling all the platforms with the near perfect Dragon Ball universe of arena fighting that gives you the opportunity to be your favorite characters from the anime or manga and beat other contenders from the same series. Bandai Namco has recently revealed two new upcoming DLC characters for the game to join their current roster of 24 players.
Courtesy of Japanese magazine V-Jump, we know now that Bardock and Broly are the newest members to be added into the mix of Dragon Ball FighterZ through the game's first DLC. Players are to make their own team for a classic three-on-three fighting system and can choose from Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and Vegeta of the Dragon Ball Z saga. Beerus, Goku, Goku Black, Hit, Blue Vegeta and Super Saiyan from Dragon Ball Super make their appearances too.

These adding of characters from various series of the Dragon Ball universe and the recent addition of Broly actually in FighterZ Pass DLC pack suggests that Namco is very open minded about including characters from movies. Costing you only $34.99, the pack reportedly contains a total of eight players and only two are revealed so far while the others are still to be announced.
Bardock is Goku’s father who died fighting Frieza and his character appeared in many in flashbacks of Dragon Ball Z. In Dragon Ball FighterZ, he has a Super Special Attack called “Revenger Assault” and it transforms him to a Super Saiyan even though it is completely non-canon. Broly on the other hand is an accomplished villain who starred in three of the Dragon Ball films. His powerful energy based attack “Gigantic Meteor” is more than capable to demolish his arch-enemy Goku.

Already assembled a roster of two dozen hero and villain characters, this 2.5D fighting game uses similar tag-team mechanism previously introduced on the games from Marvel Vs. Capcom series. Based on the player matchup for your team formation, you will be able to re-create iconic moment from the franchise as well as character-wise dialogue like many other popular games of the genre.
