Paying respect to a character from early phase of the series, we are then shown a dark present where survivors are still trying to live against all odds and facing emotional crack in every turn. Looking back at past, where Telltale's Walking Dead begin its journey with Lee Everett and a young Clem from Atlanta, The Final Season marches ahead to the current events. A lot of Clementine's attitude towards complicated situations and tough-as-nails will to survive came from her mentor Lee.

When the gang shows skepticism about little AJ on whether or not he can take care of himself, he showed them that he is more than capable.
