Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for Nintendo Switch
Nintendo Switch is getting online action RPG Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate later this summer from its way out of Japan.
Originally, action role-playing game Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate from Capcom was released for Nintendo 3DS in 2016. There was an extended version of the game called Monster Hunter XX, which came out as a port for Nintendo Switch one year ago but it was released only for Japan. Now the publisher has finally decided to bring in the title worldwide this summer. The game is re-branded as Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate to make its way to Switch in North America and Europe.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is coming for Nintendo's next-gen console on August 28, 2018. After seeing immense success of this release, Capcom finally decided to release it for Western market and there will be some additional content with it when they do. They had no intention of introducing the game on any other regions except Japan and as they do so now, it becomes the first title of the series to make an entry on console. Aside from armor, items and weapons, players are allowed to use six different hunting styles.

If you already own Monster Hunter Generations on 3DS, you can simply transfer all your data to Switch version and continue playing. You can also use touch screen inputs of your console for powerful attacks; Hunter Arts soon as your Arts Gauge is full. This port supports a local co-op and online multiplayer too. An Elder Dragon and two new Hunting Styles called Alchemy and Valor will be featured in it. You can go on "G Rank" quests, where you will be facing more menacing version of monsters you encounter on a regular basis.

Though Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is highly action-packed and intense just like any other game from this franchise, you better not expect to experience anything like their most recent and highly successful release Monster Hunter: World for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, if the world of Monster Hunter fascinates you and makes you want to play it on portable console then Generations Ultimate would be a great option to look up for.
