I've talked to many others behind the scenes about this at this point, it's something I heard over a year ago, think it was going to get out whether I was the one to say it or not, & that's about it.
AestheticGamer also states that recently reported Resident Evil 1 Remake is not real after all as Capcom has other plans now. Also, long-anticipated Resident Evil 9 reveal isn't happening soon as it got internally delayed to late 2025/2026.
Furthermore, remake of Resident Evil 5 is not actively in development either despite all rumors online. Though many fans believe Resident Evil 4 Remake and its Separate Ways DLC has set up premise for RE5 Remake, this could take time.
Resident Evil 0 is a prequel to original Resident Evil featuring rookie S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers and former marine Billy Coen. Players will switch between these two characters who visit Arklay Mountains to meet with her team.
Resident Evil Code: Veronica ties to aftermath of Resident Evil 2, starring Claire Redfield to look for her missing brother Chris Redfield. Debuted on Dreamcast in 2000, Code Veronica was later remastered and still very popular among fans.
