Announced during The Game Awards 2022 event, upcoming roguelike action role-playing game Hades II by developer/publisher Supergiant Games hosted a technical test last month before its long-awaited Early Access launch worldwide.
As one of the most-anticipated releases of 2024, fans are eyeing out for recent sequel to Hades to arrive anytime soon. Today, Supergiant Games finally releases Hades II on Early Access for PC via Epic Games Store and Steam for all users.

Supergiant Games has revealed a brand-new gameplay showcase trailer for Hades II release on Early Access.
Latest sequel introduces Melinoë as new playable character, who uses dark sorcery and a sister to original protagonist Zagreus. As an immortal princess of the Underworld, she has a beef with Titan of time, Chronos, to set her father free.
A ruthless sorceress with magical abilities, Mel wields various shadowy weapons in combat and is aided by other Olympian Gods. She will explore the Underworld of Greek myth and engage in fast-paced action to overcome all challenges.

Building on the aspects of original game, latest sequel introduces more enemies, environments and fully-voiced characters than Hades. Your accomplishment and setback will unveil more bits and pieces of its overarching story over time.
An in-game development roadmap will share details regarding future update plans as dev team continues to reflect on feedback from fans. Hades II is already Steam Deck verified will soon get its major update at some point later in 2024.
