Anticipation regarding development update on upcoming single-player Metroidvania adventure game Hollow Knight: Silksong from developer/publisher Team Cherry has always been high ever since its official reveal around five years ago.
A newfound rating for heavily-anticipated sequel to Hollow Knight has been spotted recently on official website for South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee, which may led to an announcement of its release date shortly.
Originally rated back in February, a listing for Hollow Knight: Silksong was discovered earlier and it was classified for players aged 12 and over, sparking rumors about a possible launch date may get revealed by Team Cherry in coming days.
Also, Microsoft has launched a new store page for Hollow Knight: Silksong on Xbox Store, which lets you wishlist the game. It was announced during Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022 broadcast that Silksong comes to Game Pass on launch.
Xbox president Sarah Bond has highlighted that Hollow Knight: Silksong comes to Game Pass at launch day.

Earlier in March, Silksong profile on Steam received a surprise update and changed its User Tags (store_tags) for no apparent reason. However, fans thought it to be a sign for a potential launch date announcement later sometime in 2024.
Hollow Knight: Silksong still has no clear release window after it was delayed back in 2023 while development was still ongoing. Team Cherry remained silent for long but may end up showing a new trailer during Summer Game Fest event.
