Luigi's Mansion 2 HD and Paper Mario Remake News May Be Coming Next Week

Among couple other surprise announcements, Nintendo revealed a remaster of Luigi's Mansion 2 HD and remake of Super Mario RPG. Both of these upcoming games are planned to release on Nintendo Switch, set to arrive later this year.

March 10 is when Nintendo celebrates annual Mario Day every year and we are just less than a week away from it. Ahead of its arrival, leaker Pyoro hinted that an update on Luigi's Mansion 2 and Paper Mario remake happens this week.

When a social media user posted a message on X (formerly Twitter) asking Nintendo for update on Paper Mario remake this Mario Day, known leaker Pyoro teased an announcement for Paper Mario alongside Luigi's Mansion 2 very soon.

Pyoro has a reliable track record of leaks when it comes to Nintendo titles so far, including early scoop on Super Mario Bros. Wonder before its official announcement and news of F-Zero ahead of its awaited reveal in last September 2023.

Featuring updated graphics, enhanced version of 2013 Nintendo 3DS title Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon was confirmed back in June 2023. Scheduled for mid-2024 release on Switch, remastered version has been titled Luigi's Mansion 2 HD.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door was originally launched by Nintendo for GameCube back in 2004 and being remade after two decades. Regarded as the best RPG in Mario series, newest remake features several new improvements.
