An official report claims, Epic Games had 75 million monthly active users in December and they offered 86 freebies throughout 2023 via their digital distribution outlet Epic Games Store for all gamers across PC platform to get more traffic.
Epic Store is giving away 2020 indie platformer Super Meat Boy Forever by developer/publisher Team Meat for free this week, which PC users can claim before February 29, 8:00 AM PT/11:00 AM ET to own it forever in their online library.
One of the original Epic Games Store-exclusive at launch, Super Meat Boy Forever is a sequel to 2010 original Super Meat Boy. Initially offering Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics this week, a change in free title was made by Epic later on.
Latest series entry continues the journey of Meat Boy and Bandage Girl as they attempt to save their infant daughter Nugget. When she gets kidnapped by Dr. Fetus, this meaty pair decides to travel though worlds to rescue her at all costs.
Although planned as a mobile version of the first game, it ended up being a full-fledged project over time. Super Meat Boy Forever never became as popular as its predecessor but now that it is free on EGS, people may actually play it out.
Epic Games Store announced to offer 2021 side-scrolling adventure game Aerial_Knight's Never Yield from developer/publisher Aerial_Knight, which will become available to claim for every PC platform users, starting on February 29, 2024.
