Death Stranding 2 Title Reportedly Leaked Ahead of Reveal

Confirming another eerie sequel to 2019 action strand game, developer Kojima Productions has unveiled a first-look of Death Stranding 2 during The Game Awards 2022 showcase and teased a new, ominous threat already on the horizon.

Though currently having a numbered working title, upcoming sequel to Death Stranding is likely to reveal its full title very soon. However, a reliable dataminer may have leaked DS2 title shortly ahead of its imminent reveal in coming days.

Reputable leaker billbil-kun has recently shared on French community website Dealabs that the final official title for Death Stranding 2 will be "Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach" and a second announcement happens within next 15 days.

Earlier this month, reliable industry insider Jeff Grubb suggested that Sony could host their next PlayStation State of Play in coming weeks. There is a possibility for Kojima Productions revealing more about DS2 at latest State of Play event.

Moreover, Hideo Kojima's personal assistant Ayako posted an image of him editing a video back in September 2023 on Twitter, which roughly reads "State_of_Play_XXXX_trailer_DS2" on video title, further fueling the State of Play rumors.

Death Stranding 2 is currently marketed exclusively for PlayStation 5 consoles but may arrive on PC at a later date as well. Kojima Productions has also teamed up with A24 for live-action movie adaptation of Death Stranding for big screen.
