A returning freebie on EGS from 2021, today's free title A Plague Tale: Innocence invites players to a harrowing journey through 14th-century France, amidst a deadly plague and the Inquisition that chases around siblings Amicia and Hugo.

Hailing from a noble descent, player character Amicia looks after her sick younger brother Hugo as she seeks a cure for him. While maneuvering through decaying landscapes, they encounter a series of threats and unending swarm of rats.
