Leaving development hell after nearly a decade, 2023 action role-playing game Dead Island 2 by developer Dambuster Studios and publisher Deep Silver is out now on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Making a long-awaited return to open-world zombie slaying action, sequel to Dead Island takes you to City of Angels, which has now become a hellish nightmare because of its heavily mutated populace with an appetite for any living beings.

Amidst an undead apocalypse, six survivors board an evacuation flight out of LA only to be shot down after an infected got on board. Despite surviving the crash, they end up getting bitten but somehow still remain immune to the infection
Slayers will journey through many iconic LA locations playing story campaign mode and find out narrative pieces as they keep fighting. Dead Island 2 brings back iconic brutal melee combat and offers a wide array of zombie-killing weaponry.

Other than regular zombie types, Slayers would come across special infected that they can take down solo or in three-player online co-op. Also head over to workbenches to craft and mod any melee weapon with really inventive properties.
All six characters; Amy, Bruno, Carla, Dani, Jacob and Ryan are fully customizable with skill cards to re-spec their abilities. Slayers can briefly activate special Fury mode to get into a berserk rage and kill all zombies in sight using bestial power.

Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver is celebrating worldwide release of Dead Island 2 with new launch trailer.
To survive HELL-A, players can get their hands on Memories of Banoi pack as a pre-order bonus, featuring skill card, special perk and weapons. A unique gore system called F.L.E.S.H. will let you rip, slice and smash zombies into lots of pieces.
Dead Island 2 brings back dark humor and intense combat of first series entry with a number of gameplay improvements. Deep Silver includes an Expansion Pass along with DI2 special editions and is likely to launch a DLC expansion later on.
