Resident Evil 4 Remake Out Now |
Reimagining of a classic franchise entry, 2023 survival horror game Resident Evil 4 Remake from developer/publisher Capcom is out now worldwide on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with support for PlayStation VR2.
Former rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy has now become a U.S. agent six years following the events of Raccoon City. Assigned to a new mission, Leon has been sent to a remote European village to bring home US president's missing daughter.
When he arrives there, Leon continues his search for president's daughter Ashley Graham but it led to a terrible discovery. Something has gone wrong with local villagers as they band together and comes after him with no escape in sight.
For a ground-up remake, Capcom has revamped combat by enabling Leon to move and shoot at the same time. While avoiding attack, he can use roundhouse kick or suplex to damage enemies and is able to parry chainsaw using his knife.
Instead of mindless zombies, Leon is going after a new breed of parasite-infected Ganados, who can wield weapons and work together. Familiar faces like Ada Wong, Luis Serra and more would return with some surprise twists in storyline.
Latest remake brings back grid-based inventory system with an attaché case and includes a new crafting system to utilize items. Whenever you need an upgrade, purchase or repair weapons at The Merchant, maybe sell items for pesetas.
