Less than a week ago, Sony Interactive Entertainment casually revealed upcoming PlayStation Plus monthly free games lineup for Essential tier members during latest State of Play showcase as they become playable from March 7, 2023.
Adapt and overcome a near-future world of chaos in 2021 first-person shooter Battlefield 2042 by developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts, where you engage in all-out warfare with your team, heavy arsenal of weapons and vehicles.
Rise up against the Lost in 2019 action role-playing game Code Vein from developer/publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and team up with AI partner or a friend via co-op multiplayer to fight overpowered enemies and save humans.
A spin-off to original sandbox game Minecraft, 2020 dungeon crawler Minecraft Dungeons by developer Mojang Studios and publisher Xbox Game Studios lets you play alone or with friends to save villagers and take out evil Arch-Illager.
Sony will soon remove PlayStation Plus Collection library and members on PS5 can claim those titles before May 9, 2023. A library of PS4 games were offered to new console owners in 2020, which remains accessible for active members.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can still download and play Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Evil Dead and OlliOlli World for PS4 and 5, Mafia: Definitive Edition on PS4 until March 6 or add them to your game library before they are delisted by Sony.
