Already delayed for a year, upcoming action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom from developer/publisher Nintendo revealed its official title last year during Nintendo Direct presentation back in September 2022.
A launch date for Breath of the Wild sequel is still a few months away for fans to finally explore a new adventure of Link and Zelda. However, a recent leak has revealed concept art, new faces, locations and more ahead of official release.
Multiple images of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom official art-book has recently got leaked on social media site Reddit, which seemingly offers a first-look at concept art of Link and other in-game characters, spoilers and more.
Included with Collector's Edition, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom art-book has over 200 pages with captions for artwork. Although original leak was quickly removed, people are still sharing those images across social media sites and forums.
Leaked version of art-book is apparently Japanese and so, it's a bit difficult to understand lot of its content. Since this one is a pre-order bonus, lot of these artworks has no added context and has no explanation from artists or developer.
Looking for potential spoilers in leaked images, there was no concept art of Ganon, whether or not Zelda will be playable is not confirmed, transformation of Link is depicted but nothing more than latest trailer and it has no plot synopsis.
TotK art-book was meant to be released alongside its base game later in May but it still doesn't give you any major spoiler or whatsoever. Without artists or commentary by Nintendo, it is just a book with handful of official Zelda artwork.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be first $69.99 worth Nintendo Switch-exclusive at launch. Collector's Edition of TotK will probably be sold at $129.99 and comes with a physical version, poster, Steelbook case and lot more.
