As we stepped into February 2023, Nintendo players were speculating about whether there will be a Direct broadcast coming this month. A new report claims that Nintendo indeed is planning to host a Nintendo Direct on February 6, 2023.
In a latest episode of Game Mess show, VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb revealed hearing of a planned Nintendo Direct showcase for next week beginning on February 6, which something he heard too many times and is simply repeating.
He further clarified saying, it would probably be late next week but nothing may happen and he is not promising it either. All he is saying is that he heard about is many times and everything is apparently hinting towards a show next week.
Grubb thinks it's not too surprising since Nintendo typically hosts a Direct in February or March and so, it is a possibility. With how things are changing recently regarding Advance Wars 1+2, it may happen sooner than fans really expected.
After getting delayed last year due to Ukraine war, Nintendo eShop has updated Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp page lately. Grubb believes that upcoming Direct stream may showcase the game with pre-order becomes available soon.
Advance Wars 1+2 remasters just got a new game ID as Nintendo will probably going to try and release it real quick. He further speculates that some new updates on Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may be revealed via Direct show.
Nintendo held its last Direct event back in September 2022, which Grubb successfully predicted but a few of his claims were wrong. Nintendo may reveal a Switch OLED special edition console to release alongside Breath of the Wild sequel.
