Making its debut on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms late last year, 2022 tactical role-playing game Marvel's Midnight Suns by developer Firaxis Games and publisher 2K releases Good, Bad and Undead DLC story last month.
Although overall reception for Marvel's Midnight Suns among players across available platforms are generally positive so far, Firaxis' newest venture into Marvel Universe didn't perform well at retails since its launch on December last year.
Midnight Suns was critically well-received at release but was still heavily discounted only after a month of its debut, which could be a result of disappointing sales numbers and parent company Take-Two Interactive also confirms that idea.
According to latest Bloomberg report, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick claims that release window for Midnight Suns wasn't seemingly perfect. However, he believes it could sell better long-term, much like previous titles by developer Firaxis.
After being delayed from its October 2022 release window, Midnight Suns only launched for PC, PS5 and Series X/S back in December. 2K has promised to release Nintendo Switch and consoles of last generation later but has given no date.
Marvel's Midnight Suns have failed to make it to a list of UK's 100 best-selling games of last year despite favorable reviews. It has fallen short behind games like Mario+Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, The Callisto Protocol and other AAA-releases.
