The Witcher 3: Complete Edition Physical Edition Release Date

CD Projekt Red has announced release dates for physical edition of The Witcher 3: Complete Edition on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The Witcher 3: Complete Edition Physical Edition Release Date

While announcing a set release date for next-gen upgrade of 2015 action role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt earlier last year, developer/publisher CD Projekt Red also confirmed plans to release additional contents in near future.

CD Projekt Red has revealed plans for a physical edition while confirming a new release date for next-gen version of The Witcher 3 earlier. Today, they officially announced a scheduled window of boxed edition launch on January 26, 2023.

Physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S version arrives on stores at Europe, North America and select regions at first. Australia and New Zealand gets it on January 27, followed by South American market by end of the month.

Japan will receive PS5 version on February 9 but launch date for Brazil has not been determined just yet. These regions, along with Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and South Korea maybe won't see boxed release of Xbox Series X/S version.

Next-gen version of The Witcher 3 includes support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, faster load times and more. Players can choose between performance or ray-tracing modes, while PS5 owners have its haptic and adaptive triggers.

The Witcher 3: Complete Edition collects previously released content, including two expansions on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version. Moreover, physical release brings cross-progression, photo mode, quality of life improvement and more.
