Shortly after acquiring rights for Payday franchise, developer Overkill Software and Starbreeze Studios confirmed working on upcoming first-person shooter Payday 3 for PC and consoles, in association with publisher Prime Matter.
Considering 2023 to be an extremely packed year for gaming, fans already picked their top 10 most anticipated games for next year. Nearing end of New Year's Eve, Payday 3 reveals official logo, launch window and a teaser trailer.

Although no gameplay footage was shown just yet, Payday 3 is currently available on Steam to wishlist right now. System requirements for PC platform were not revealed and store page for its console versions are not online either.
Players will soon reunite with Dallas, Hoxton, Chains and Wolf as they move to New York City for another great heist. Newest sequel picks up from where Payday 2 ended and takes place in 2020s, bringing lots of modern concepts.
Payday 3 development was switched to Unreal Engine 4 after fully abandoning Valhalla game engine for efficiency. Heisters will rob fictional "Gold & Sharke Incorporated" bank, face more advanced surveillance systems and more.
