Guerrilla Games Job Listing Confirms Horizon Online Project

A long-rumored DLC expansion for 2022 PlayStation-exclusive action role-playing game Horizon Forbidden West from developer Guerrilla Games and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment was revealed at The Game Awards 2022 show.

Announcing to launch Burning Shores DLC expansion early next year, Guerrilla is already hinting at their next project through a job posting shared on social media lately, which will be a Horizon co-op game set within same Horizon universe.

Updating a list of 17 job positions, Guerrilla dev team is hiring for a new online project including a lead world designer to bring an expanded Horizon universe for multiplayer experience in a job posting that confirms new Horizon online title.

Another vacancy for senior combat designer requires experienced and passionate individuals to create various spectacular machine enemies that are challenging and memorable for players to fight cooperatively, possibly for online project.

Guerrilla Games recently shared a number of job listings for new Horizon online co-op project on Twitter.

Guerrilla reportedly had plans to include multiplayer for first Horizon game but it eventually got scrapped to focus on other aspects. Sony also wanted to add co-op in Forbidden West but devs decided to have the feature in a future project.

Horizon standalone online spin-off or a third mainline series is expected to be in works because of such rumors. Guerrilla Games may seemingly be working on Horizon Zero Dawn remaster for PlayStation 5 consoles with improved features.
