Diablo 4 Will Reportedly Release in April 2023
Blizzard Entertainment is reportedly planning to release Diablo IV early next year and may even show up at The Game Awards 2022.

Already delayed from its original release window, upcoming action role-playing game Diablo IV by developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment is set to launch sometime next year, as revealed during Xbox & Bethesda Games digital showcase.
While getting flacked for heavy focus on Diablo Immortal micro-transactions, Blizzard dev team insists on no pay-to-win mechanics for long-awaited Diablo IV, which is reportedly scheduled to launch in April 2023 and show up this December.
According to Window's Central, Diablo 4 is currently slated to arrive in April 2023 and pre-order will go live during The Game Awards 2022. Players who purchase early are likely to get access to a Closed Beta test program, possibly in February.
A previously leaked alleged internal Activision document that accurately revealed release dates for both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0, listed The Game Awards as a starting point of promotional push for Diablo IV this year.
Blizzard was running a number of private Beta tests among friends and family members of their studio staffs. However, over 40 minutes of gameplay footage was leaked from a test build just a few months ago ahead of a public Beta program.
Diablo IV won't allow players to spend real money to upgrade you character abilities and every season will start with a new character. These decisions are seemingly taking D4 towards a live- service model, which may lead to more criticism.
