Diablo IV Will Reportedly Release in April 2023 |
Already delayed from its original release window, upcoming action role-playing game Diablo IV by developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment is set to launch sometime next year, as revealed during Xbox & Bethesda Games digital showcase.
While getting flacked for heavy focus on Diablo Immortal micro-transactions, Blizzard dev team insists on no pay-to-win mechanics for long-awaited Diablo IV, which is reportedly scheduled to launch in April 2023 and show up this December.
According to Window's Central, Diablo 4 is currently slated to arrive in April 2023 and pre-order will go live during The Game Awards 2022. Players who purchase early are likely to get access to a Closed Beta test program, possibly in February.
A previously leaked alleged internal Activision document that accurately revealed release dates for both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0, listed The Game Awards as a starting point of promotional push for Diablo IV this year.
Blizzard was running a number of private Beta tests among friends and family members of their studio staffs. However, over 40 minutes of gameplay footage was leaked from a test build just a few months ago ahead of a public Beta program.
Diablo IV won't allow players to spend real money to upgrade you character abilities and every season will start with a new character. These decisions are seemingly taking D4 towards a live- service model, which may lead to more criticism.
