During a latest French video interview, original Silent Hill movie director Christophe Gans talked about multiple Silent Hill games being under development by several internal teams, according to a translated post on ResetEra gaming forums.
Gans stated that he knows a little bit about next Silent Hill game as he works with original Silent Team, creators of known series. Working in collaboration with Konami for new Silent Hill movie, he confirms some rumors about a series revival.
Christophe Gans, original Silent Hill movie director claims that Konami already has several new games in works.
I'm working with the Silent Team, the original creators at Konami, there are several games in development as we speak, there are several teams on it, with a big line of games, they will revive the franchise, I think they were really impressed of the success of the remakes of Resident Evil that are evidently exceptional games.

Interview comments of director Gans clearly matches with previously reported claims by media outlets in past few months. However, it is not clear whether he is simply repeating those stories or confirming them before Konami announces it.
Earlier last February, Polish developer Bloober Team hinted at working on long-dormant horror game franchise from a popular publisher. It led to rumors regarding Sony funding a PlayStation- exclusive Silent Hill game by Kojima Productions.
Konami reportedly greenlit a Silent Hill 2 Remake to be developed by Bloober Team, which may include multiple new endings. There is also an episodic Silent Hill "short stories" series currently in development and was leaked via rating board.
