Already having a packed schedule for next year, developer/publisher Capcom announced a new livestream dedicated to popular survival horror franchise Resident Evil earlier last month ahead of upcoming new releases in coming months.
Capcom confirms sharing updates on Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition, RE: Verse and Resident Evil 4 across their various social media platforms through a scheduled digital stream, which will begin at October 20, 3:00 PM PT/6:00 AM ET.

Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose DLC | Overview
Latest showcase stream kicks-off with a new trailer of upcoming Shadows of Rose DLC story for Resident Evil: Village, looking back at how much Ethan Winters has sacrificed to save Rose, who is looking for some answers 16 years later on.
Rose will be encountering many hellish nightmares within realm of consciousness as she enters Megamycete. Shadows of Rose is set in a world outside of reality and will be much harder than base game, wrapping up Winters Family saga.

Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition | Third-Person Mode Free Demo
Considering some fans may find playing RE: Village too scary in first-person mode and even feel motion sickness, Capcom added a third-person mode for everyone to enjoy the experience, yet Ethan's face will remain hidden from camera.
Starting today, a 60-minute long free demo for both third-person and original FPS mode will be available on all platforms. Within a total playtime of 60 minutes, you can choose to play any of these modes and continue for so many times.

RE: Verse | Early Access
Previously announced as a free bonus with Resident Evil Village, online PvP mode RE: Verse will become available on October 28. Before its launch, you can join Early Access on all platforms to play from October 24 to 26 once you register.
RE: Verse will release post-launch updates in near future that are currently in development and will include elite Hound Wolf unit members. Current owners of RE: Village can take part in Early Access while receiving all upcoming contents.

Resident Evil Series and Village | Cloud Gaming and Mac Release
Making its macOS debut later this month, Resident Evil: Village will be playable on devices with Apple silicon ranging from MacBook Air to Mac Studio, featuring high frame rate and improved visuals via MetalFX upscaling with 4K support.
Venturing into cloud gaming, major Resident Evil titles including Village are coming to Nintendo Switch with a free demo. Cloud version supports smooth gameplay in handheld, tabletop or TV mode at up to 60 FPS, without any download.

Resident Evil 4 Remake | Special Editions
Pre-order for Resident Evil 4 Remake is live now in Standard, Deluxe and Collector's Edition for major platforms. Standard Edition only includes RE4 base game while Deluxe comes with a few extra costume sets, soundtrack and weapons.
Collector's Edition gets you all Deluxe contents with art book, digital soundtracks, a Leon figure, decorative box and a special physical map. Pre-order bonus includes exclusive attaché case and handgun ammo as charms for in-game usage.

For a while now, many people were debating over whether a remake of RE4 was necessary and today's stream may have settled that. Capcom has knocked it out of the park once again with a faithful recreation of fan-favorite 2005 game.
Resident Evil: Village has sold over 6 million copies till date and Gold Edition is set to release on October 28, 2022. Dev team initially wanted to work on a DLC focused on Chris Redfield and his mental state but chose Shadows of Rose DLC.
