Planning to usher a new era, developer/publisher Capcom announced upcoming fighting game Street Fighter 6 earlier in February 2022, promising new gameplay and graphical improvements for latest series entry in long-running franchise.
Capcom has already revealed a redesigned roster, open-world and a number of new fighters for next entry in Street Fighter series. A newly released Street Fighter 6 trailer confirms return of a few fan-favorite heroes and World Tour mode.

Revealed during recent Tokyo Game Show 2022 livestream, classic Street Fighter characters like Blanka, Dhalsim, E. Honda and Ken are back. All of these legendary fighters are redesigned to fit a revamped fighting ground of Street Fighter 6.
World Tour is a single-player story mode that allows players to customize their characters set in a large open-world. Starting from Metro City, you will sign up with coach Luke for basic training, meet many Street Fighter characters and more.

An in-depth look at character creation tool unveils variety of options to tweak different aspects of an avatar including body type, hair etc. Your customized avatar can even join Battle Hub and connect with player-community in lots of ways.
Extreme Battle mode is another new addition to SF6, allowing you to customize rules for a fight using modifiers to make it more interesting. Introducing a few stage hazards like explosive balls or raging bull adds a lot of excitement in battle.

According to previous leak, SF6 will reportedly include 24 characters and so far, only 11 of them have been revealed by Capcom. Many of the known V-Skills from Street Fighter V now becomes special moves that you can learn from fighters.
Street Fighter 6 is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S sometime next year. Capcom announces to host a Closed Beta test for confirmed platforms with cross-platform play feature, staring from October 7 through 10.
